We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior Software Development Engineer to help build the next generation of Rich User Experience Windows 8 apps. Candidates will design and implement features that allow for the creation of rich, well-designed modern windows 8 applications.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing software in C# or C++
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- JavaScript, jQuery Experience with development in large, high-volume services and responsive, elegant web UI is beneficial
- HTML5 / CSS experience is a plus
- Experience writing apps for WPF, Silverlight, Windows Store or Windows Phone is a plus
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience building commercial grade software
- 4+ years of experience programming in C++, C#, Java or HTML5/CSS/JS, Excellent knowledge of JS a strong plus
- Has experience in commercial grade client-side development
- Has an understanding and appreciation for server-side architecture, information architecture (IA), usability, and design
- Enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Has a good track record of building robust and well-engineered software
